Rothenburg is one of the best-preserved villages of Germany which takes you back into the Medieval times. The village is located in the Franconia’s Heart of Bavaria. The town has intact medieval walls which used to be for feeding farm animals in old times.

Rothenburg used to be the second largest city of Germany in mid ages but now it’s a small town which welcomes uncountable tourists from all over the world and provides them the chance to experience the Medieval times in Germany.

We visited Rothenburg in mid December. It wasn’t so cold but the weather was quite shitty. It rained for the whole day. But the shelter on the top of the walls and understanding tunnels saved us from getting wet.
